Irish Wool Tweed Barleycorn Flat Cap

Barleycorn Irish flat cap.

The Irish wool tweed ivy cap in a more complex barleycorn pattern often found in the Harris tweeds found a few miles to the north-east across the Irish Sea.

Both colors in these caps, the grey and the olive-brown, are woven against the traditional black usually found in the Irish barleycorn tweed weave.

As you can see in the pictures, the main color predominates getting a little “punch” from the black, an interesting variation to the traditional Irish salt and pepper tweed.
