Rare Vintage Sennit Straw Boater Made In Japan

Since the late 19th century the Sennit straw boater has been a popular summer hat.

This particular boater was made of Sennit straw on the island of Hokkaido Japan.

These vintage pre-1988 boaters have never been used.

Sennit straw is no longer available for use to make boaters, what we have are some of the last ones ever made.

These are in very limited supply, when they’re gone we cannot get more.
